The Instagram Famous Fountain Pool
If you haven’t seen any posts on Instagram about the long fountain pool that the Four Seasons Marrakech has, then you’re probably living under a rock. Majestically set in the middle of the resort, the fountain pool is a central feature and one of the most Instagrammable areas at Four Seasons Marrakech.
Upon taking our own photos, we ran into so many other people trying to take photos of the majestic pool. It also helps that it is set right in front of two of their amazing restaurants, Quattro and Inara. You can sip some Moroccan tea on the balcony or enjoy a brunch right in front of the fountain. We did this twice during our stay there and the experience was quite relaxing.
The lush and private hotel grounds
Known as a garden sanctuary in the heart of the red city, Four Seasons Marrakech has approximately 40 acres of Moorish gardens spread out throughout the property. When we stayed at the Four Seasons back in September, there was a conference full of people everywhere. However, every time we took a stroll down to the pool or the restaurants, there weren’t a lot of people to be seen anywhere. I love my P&Q (private and quiet) time. Exploring the grounds and feeling like we were the only ones there was incredibly rejuvenating as I will always opt to stay away from crowds. The lush gardens, date palms and flowers made our time there more romantic. There were plenty of outdoor areas with bougainvillaea and Moroccan lamps.
Adults-only pool
If you’re anything like me and like your peace and quiet without crazy kids running all over the place and making splashes, you’ll love the adults-only pool. There is a family pool where kids can enjoy themselves but the adults-only pool is next-level. Nestled away from all the craziness, you can find your quiet time by catching up on that book you’ve been meaning to finish, taking a rejuvenating swim in the long pool or just sunbathing and working on those tan lines 😉
Breakfast & Dinner at Quattro
The best part about having breakfast at Quattro is that you can opt to sit outside right in front of the fountain pool and enjoy either the buffet or a la carte options. The decor inside Quattro is modern with Moroccan touches. There are endless bread, cheese, and pastry options to choose from. Quattro really comes alive at night with its sensual ambience and dim lighting. With its dim-lit charm, Quattro offers fine Italian dining. We don’t drink but had to check out the bar at Quattro because they have their own mixologist who can create customized cocktails, be it alcoholic or virgin. The mixologist at Quattro whipped up our customized drinks infused with passionfruit, basil, lemon, ginger, and liquorice. These were some of the best drinks we had while in Morocco.
Lunch at Azzera Poolside Restaurant
There is nothing more magical than having lunch while surrounded by olive trees, at least in my opinion. The Azzera Poolside restaurant offers such an ambience with all-day pool menus as well. Lunch is served from 12 noon to 5 pm while the pool stays open from 9 am to sunset. The best part? They offer an ice-cream bar as well with a variety of flavours! Don’t forget to try their famed pistachio ice cream.
Drinks at the Inara Restaurant Balcony
We’re not drinkers but we do love our virgin cocktails anywhere we go. Our very first drinks were on the Inara balcony. The Inara Restuarant.
Enjoy the weather rain, or shine in your own outdoor patio
The best part about our suite was the outdoor patio with a romantic alcove adorned with traditional Moroccan cushions. We had views of the family pool surrounded by lush gardens. The patio was great for relaxing, bonding and dancing in the rain.
