Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch is a huge working farm in Morgan Hill, California that turns into a fall wonderland, with flowers, pumpkins, and dinosaurs. We don’t have kids, and we still had a blast. It never felt childish. It just felt playful.

Our Experience at Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch
We went on a Tuesday in October. We arrived around 11am and left around 1:30pm. That is about two and a half hours, and honestly, we could have stayed longer.
It was less crowded than the weekends, but it was not empty. Families with kids were everywhere. Even so, it felt peaceful. We never felt squished, and we could roam at our own speed. That freedom was my favorite thing about the farm.
My favorite spot was the marigolds. Rows and rows of orange flowers next to the pumpkins made the cutest photos. The pumpkin tower was another highlight, and I loved all the pumpkins in shapes and colors I had never seen before. I spent a long time just looking and snapping photos. Fall and pumpkin photography is my idea of a perfect date day.
Waseem was all about the dinos. This year, Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch has a theme inspired by Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. You will see life-size animatronic dinosaurs, dino babies, and towering dragons set among the pumpkins and fields. As Jurassic fans, we thought it was so cool.
We skipped the rides. The lines were long, with waits of 30 to 45 minutes for each one, and the rides looked like they were made more for little kids. We also skipped food, since we had lunch plans at Boiling Crab nearby.

Is the Farm Free? Admission and Parking
Yes, admission is free. You can walk the farm and see the pumpkins, flowers, and dinosaurs without paying a thing. Spina Farms admission only costs money when you add rides.
Parking is where the cost sneaks in. It is free Monday through Thursday, except on holidays. Friday through Sunday it is a whopping $30, cash only. For a place with free entry, that feels a bit excessive to me, and it is the main reason I would visit on a weekday.

Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch 2026 Tickets and Park Pass Prices
Here are the Spina Farms 2026 prices. Most rides cost $8 each, and the Hayride + Dino Walk costs $10.
The Spina Farms Park Pass is $45 and covers six attractions. These are the train, the cow train, the new bee train, the corn maze, the pumpkin blasters, and the hayride with dino walk. Bought one by one, those six add up to $50, so the pass saves you $5. The Dino Ride and Pumpkin Cups cost $8 each and are not included. The corn maze takes about 30 to 45 minutes, and you get a map with a number to call or text if you get lost.
Is the pass worth it? On our Tuesday, it was half off at $22 per person, which is a great deal even though we passed. At full price, it makes sense if you plan to ride most things and don’t mind lines. If you mostly want photos and flowers, skip it. The Tuesday deal is only what we saw, so check with the farm before you plan around it next year.

Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch Hours for 2026
The park is open daily. Here are the entry cutoffs and closing times I found:
Sunday to Thursday: last entry at 8pm, park closes at 9pm.
Friday: last entry at 9pm, park closes at 10pm.
Halloween, Saturday, October 31: last entry at 5pm, park closes at 6pm.
These are cutoffs, not full schedules. Check the official calendar for your exact day and opening time.

Food and Snacks at the Farm
The stalls feel like a state fair. You will find coffee, cotton candy, and Mexican food, along with the official menu items: nachos, hot dogs, roasted corn, loaded baked potatoes, corn dogs, tater tots, lemonade, pumpkin bread, caramel apples, and pumpkin pie. We didn’t eat here, so I can’t review the food. Outside food and drinks are allowed. Alcohol is not, even in the parking lot.

My Honest Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch Review: Is Spina Farms Worth It?
Yes, it was worth it for us. It made a cute date day out, and I would happily recommend this pumpkin patch in Morgan Hill to couples and families. Photographers and dino fans will be especially happy. My two gripes, the weekend parking fee and the ride lines, are above. If you want thrill rides or a quiet, empty farm, this may not be your spot.
